to reach nearly 100,000 units. Additionally, TGN also sends program signal to
France’s TPS cable TV company, who has more than 450,000 subscribers. High demand

Currently,
TGN is attempting to improve satellite TV receiver purchasing system,
as well as, establishing sales representatives. The signal receivers will
be purchased from a single supplier, which will greatly reduce the cost
per unit. In the past, installation cost used to differ greatly in different
states or different countries. However, single supplier system will enable
TGN to sell the receiver at almost the same price in every area with minor
differences due to shipping costs and local tax rates.
In
adition, the sales representative in each location will have more tangible
role to play beyond just selling and installing the signal receivers.
The representatives will also provide after sales services, find sponsors,
produce commercial video, and produce additional programs for the station.
In the future, there will be an establishment of sales ofices by private
sectors in foreign cities where Thai population live in lare number.

TGN
used to broadcast 8-hour-program shift and re-air it twice a day in order to
reach greatest number of viewers in different time zones in their peak viewing
time. However, by repeatedly airing the same programs three times daily, the
viewers have become bored and disinterested. Thus, TGN decided to replace it
with 12-hour-program shift and re-air it only once. This will increase the amount
of programs being broadcasted, as well as, reducing rerunning programs. It will
also enable the viewers to watch interest programs easily no matter what time
zone they live in. If they miss the program when it aires the first time, they
still could view it during rerun time airing.
